“Great Hotel, Great location!”
Reviewed 24 April 2012

Soho Trump hotel is exactly what you want for your holidays: clean, comfortable hotel with great service and not too expensive ( Keep an eye on Hotel special offers you will find great rates for your stay) . SUper location in the middle of Soho, next to subway stop and within walking distance of Tribeca & Greenwich.
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: 19th floor up

Wow! What a grate place to stay. Frist class service form the always friendly and very helpful staff. It was our first time in New York so I was looking for somwehere I could explore restraunts, shops and bars on foot. We couldn't have chosen better. The very trendy Soho was two minutes walk away and once you were there the choice was endless. Compared to the unbearably busy uptown hotels this was heaven, all the features of the modern chic hotel but with access to indipendant restaunts and bars. The room we were kindly upgraded beautifly appointed with luxury beds and my wife had taken a particular shine to the robes. The room was huge with bedroom and living area, both with massive TV's. They were pretty much redundant because we were out most of the time, but nice to know you had the luxury waiting for you when you returned from a long day out. I can't praise the staff enough, always more than happy to help and perfectly courteous without being in your face like which some British travellers dislike. All in all a fantastic experience, the wife just wishes the robe was cheaper!

Room Tip: Corner suite, higher the better.

This was our first time to NYC for our 10th anniversary & after shopping around a little this hotel has excellent "bang for the buck". While its pricey compared to normal areas I found it to be fairly competitive with the NYC hotel market especially when you book at least 3 nights. Kevin at the front door was extremely friendly, helpful & gracious upon our arrival but not in an over the top kind of way. We called ahead for early check in & they were able to get us in about an hour & a half ahead of schedule. There was a little mix up with the bags being brought up to the room. They brought one instead of five, but the bell hop quickly resolved it & brought the rest of the bags up within 5 min. Our view was over the top excellent. We originally booked mid-tier room level based on Tripadvisor suggestions & we were upgraded all the way to the 41st floor. We had an awesome view of the city to the west & north with excellent views of the empire st building & 30 Rock. Well worth it it to get above the 20th floor. The room and amenities were outstanding. The room was extremely clean, The service was above & beyond. Housekeeping never missed a beat & everything down to the littlest detail was taken care of when they left & that includes an evening turn down service where they leave chocolate, your slippers by the bed, bottled water by the bed, & relaxing music on the stereo. Also, shoe shining is free so take advantage of that. There are too many room details to list here but they do an excellent job at pampering their guests. Also, any time we called for anything they had prompt & friendly service. Lastly, the in room espresso machine was nice. Location of the hotel is excellent right in the heart of Soho with plenty of shopping, dining & subway entrances within close proximity. Also, they have a free courtesy care for a 1 mile radius after 3pm each day which was a great help after walking around NYC all day. Overall, the hotel decor was sleek & modern, the view was excellent, & the service was outstanding. So overall, given all of the upside, I actually think the Trump Soho is a good value compared with other NYC hotels & would definetly book again at a Trump property.

The only down note of the entire stay was the Spa. The actual spa service was good, but the service of the Spa front desk on the day we went was downright awful. They were not inviting, inattentive, incompetent & definitely not worth the cost. The Spa was front desk service was completely night/day vs the rest of the hotel. So I would not recommend the Spa until the front desk is fixed, especially given the price of the services.

Room Tip: Get a room higher than the 20th floor facing the northwest, truly spectacular views. Avoid the spa u...

Our family of 6 stayed in 2 rooms at the Trump Soho for 5 nights leading up to the Easter weekend.

As seasoned travellers used to staying in 4 and 5* hotels, we chose the Trump Soho after lots of research-we arrived with very high expectations and have to say these were exceeded.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, the rooms were fantastic with floor to ceiling glass windows which offered spectacular views of Manhatten, particularly as Soho is relatively low-rise. We were on the 41st floor, with a view from the bath which looked up 6th Avenue towards Midtown. The beds and pillows were sensationally comfortable, room facilities great with everything in good condition and spotlessly clean. Electrically operated curtains were a fab way to let the day in from your bed!

There's a Starbucks just across the road, Subway stations (on different lines) within 2 or 3 blocks, Soho has a cool vibe, brilliant shops, great restaurants...all within 10 mins walk of the hotel.

There was also a regular smattering of celeb's and sports stars staying, we saw Nikki Menaj and Shaquille O'Neal-which earned extra cool points with our children and really highlights the status of this hotel.

The bar was the only thing we would consider as 'average' but after days out and Soho nearby offering better value, this isn't an really an issue.

In summary, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant...your search for surely THE best hotel in NYC is over, get booking!

Room Tip: With the Soho district being relatively low-rise, the views from the rooms are fantastic-it is worth...
