If you are looking for a charming B&B in New York City in a great location and 1/2 block to a major subway station, the Chelsea Pines Inn is the place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and they serve a very good breakfast of coffee, juices, bagels, muffins, yogurt, and fruit. The staff is very helpful. Troy Capano, one of the managers, was a great source for great restaurants in the area. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was wonderful. We highly recommend the Chelsea Pines Inn.

Room Tip: If you can't handle stairs ask for one of the rooms on the lower floors. The rooms at the back...

Great location: Easy walk to the Higline and Chelsea Market - less than a block to subway!
Increadible staff: I had great research and recommendations for day trips - with printouts daily (if you ask the staff - especially Betty - is more than willing to research. Jay - is the perfect host. Was lucky to be there during an important anniversary of the property. Thursday nights Jay hosted a very well put together wine and cheese social. All and all a memorable trip... looking forward to a return.

Room Tip: Tony Curtis room is where I stayed. Perfect for one - maybe two...

My husband and I visiting NYC in May 2012 for our tenth wedding anniversary, and neither of us had been in more than a decade. After reading the fab reviews online of Chelsea Pines, we made reservations. Our stay there was literally perfect, and I am a terribly picky guest. The room was spotless, the staff was friendly & warm, the breakfast was yummy, and the location was super-convenient. I was so impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of everyone working there; they went out of their way to be helpful. The room was cozy and quiet, and we were a quick walk to lots of good restaurants as well as the subway. It rained the whole time we were there, but the staff gave us umbrellas and good advice on getting around. I can't recommend this place highly enough! I will definitely stay there again.

Perfectly located to the local neighbourhoods, High Line Park, subway, good restaurants etc. Jay and his staff were pleasant and very helpful. Inn and our room had charm and the back courtyard was a nice bonus as a place to recharge with a snack or a glass.

My husband and I took a quick trip to NYC and selected to stay at the Chelsea Pines Inn based on the great reviews we read on TripAdvisor. The reviews were correct this inn is fantastic, I would highly recommend it. It was so easy to get all around the city from the Chelsea Pines. I love that it was right next to Highline Park and the subway. As everyone else has said the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were reasonably priced and quite nice. If you are looking for a place to stay in NYC look no further.

Room Tip: while not an issue for us, the stairs are steep so if you are not nimble request a room on a lower f...
