This is a brand-new property, open only a few months. It's sleek, clean, and modern, and very efficient. There were three in our party so we had a King-bed suite. The room is small, so when the cushions are removed from the sofa bed at night there's very little room to move around and it's impossible to use the desk or the TV. But it’s thoughtfully arranged to maximize the use of the space available. We were very pleasantly surprised by how peacefully quiet our room was.

One night we were too tired to go out so we had dinner in the “Heist” lounge off the lobby. The menu is short but interesting and we had a very nice meal for a reasonable price

The things we enjoyed most about this place were its location, price, quiet, cleanliness, ample free breakfast buffet, and - most of all - the highly helpful and efficient staff. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Empire State Building

Dear KH198,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the new Embassy Suites in Midtown Manhattan. I also apologize your expectations of our room sizing was not what you expected. Our rooms compared to most Embassy Brands have been outfitted for the NYC urban market but do offer all the great amenities attributed with the brand. I am delighted that you have found the Heist lounge and staff to your liking. We thank for the recommendation and do hope to host your stay in the near future.

From check-in to check-out, this hotel was amazing and it starts with the employees! I have never met a happier and friendlier group of people that really seem to enjoy their jobs, each other and customers. It was refreshing and such a pleasure to be around such positive energy!

The rooms are amazing too. I was there for work with my family and the studio room was perfect for us, they make the best use of a small space! My daughter loved the separate space and having her own TV in the room and its a bonus that everything is so new.

Back to the employees, they were so welcoming to my daughter and did so many nice things that made her feel special throughout our stay. We appreciate this so much and this will be the only hotel we stay at in NYC, I don't think anything can compare!!!

We booked this hotel for its location, mid Manhattan, close to Empire the Empire State Building and most importantly Macy’s. We have stayed at Hilton suites previously so had expectations as to what to expect.

On the plus side we were not disappointed with the location, central and good walking distance to broadway. The hotel is new and the rooms are pristine as is the hotel. The customer service was excellent.

It is however a small hotel (6 rooms per floor over 35 floors) the lifts became very congested at times (breakfast and complementary afternoon drinks) as did the restaurant area trying to cope with the demand of breakfast and complementary drinks. It was however Easter the hotel was full and possibly the first time since opening the staff worked very hard but struggled.

Our room (3308)had a fantastic view of the Empire State Building it was well equipped even including a small microwave but it was small. Ok for two people for a couple of days but storage space was limited and the bathroom had a great shower but the room again was small. The wardrobe was next to the toilet which we found strange.

There is a small bar/restaurant on the ground floor, again small and can get cramped cramped, drinks are reasonably priced but we did not enjoy the food, ( a flat bread) it was not cooked even on the second attempt, the manger was very understanding and did not charge us, teething problems but great customer service.

Overall a great hotel in great location, fantastic hard working staff and worthy of a visit for a few days if in NYC.

Room Tip: Room3308 on floor 33 fabulous view of the Empire State, it is compact, ok for two people for a couple of days

I love new hotels and this one did not disappoint. I am sure that I will return when the opportunity comes up. Can't wait to try out the Skylawn when the weather gets warm enough. Cool views from the room as well.

Awesome stay in NYC. Room was small but comfortable. Clean room no odor no bugs no noise. The view was facing a side street no skylines just business restaurants below. Location was close to macys Broadway time square and got lost on the subway. Got lost because someone at the desk gave us wrong directions on how to get to soho..South of Houston area. We walked for miles exploring but eventually found Chinatown canal street vintage stores fashion district etc we found it on our own. Not a easy walk from hotel so if you don't like walking for miles catch a subway.
