My husband and stayed here for 2 nights in October. We loved it. The room was quite small, but very clean. The bathroom had great amenities, good shower. My husband is 6'4" and the shower head was quite high for him. He's used to being hit in the chest with the water as most hotels don't place the shower heads very high. Rick's cafe was a welcome respite. The little terrace off the cafe was the smoking section and had cute little tables. It was quite warm while we were there and the A/C units in the rooms dripped onto the terrace. Not a big deal. I would be hesitant to say the A/C would be great in the dog days of summer. The window unit kept the room around 22-24 degrees but not much cooler. Our room had no view, but was on the interior of the hotel. That seemed to keep the noise from Times Square at bay. Front desk staff was amazing. I would stay here again.

As described by many others, this is a lovely, if a little kitsch-y, hotel (faux marrocco) with nice attention to details. The decor does feel more movie set than kasbah but...still charming. There is easy access to computer/internet in the lounge, to snacks and drinks. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and good. The room was very very small; I probably booked the smallest possible size. It was a little claustrophobia inducing for one and would have been difficult for two.

Definately as described in many reports - a great hotel! Loved the location - right on times square/broadway. great staff too - really make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are small but very well decorated and modern. Cheese and wine evenings were a great way of meeting other people and swapping any ideas. Will definately return to this hotel - hopefully new year as it would be the perfect location. Apparently the guests can go on to the roof top and see the new year in up there with a fab view of times square.

This is a lovely hotel...clean, nice quality, good service, sufficient breakfast, and a great cocktail hour spread. Slippers and robes were a nice touch, too. Hats off to all who run this hotel.

I have stayed at the Casablanca several times over the past three years. I have found it comfortable, convenient and courtious. I enjoy the commons room on teh second floor and find the availability of all day refreshment a pleasant change from the larger hotels inteh city.

I give it a very strong recomendation.
