Pros:
location, beautiful lobby, beautiful bathrooms, clean, magnifying mirror in bath.

Cons:
So unhelpful. Hotel wasn’t fully booked but they refused to give us two rooms away from street side. In fact when we asked to pls move before we settled in they put us across from two elevators and near a machine room. SO LOUD so highly disturbed sleep (and here I thought that was the purpose of staying here).
- No sheet just a duvet.
- No turn down all 3 nights.
- No robes despite it being the ONLY amenity listed.
- No ice anywhere.
- No coffee or water or anything offered in room
- No views from rooms. Just a building across the street and ugly rooftop.
- Beds almost as firm as the floor. We should have left after the first night but they refused to refund. We’ve stayed elsewhere with them but after this I’ll never give Omni our business again.

The positives have to be shills. Seriously wished I had believed the negatives and had stayed elsewhere.

this hotel is overpriced. even compared to NYC rates. Look around there are other just as nice hotels at a better rate. the bed does not have a top sheet - just a duvet and I am not sure if the hotel changes these as the guests check out and I am not going to sleep in a bed where the previous guest slept without new bed linens. so be aware and make sure you ask for a top sheet for the bed.

We stayed here for 6 days as part of a package with some others visiting from the English National Opera. It was a nice hotel, rather dated and limited in facilities, but welcoming and conveniently located. We had a problem with the heating in our room on the first day, but once we pointed it out, it was fixed very quickly and on the whole the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a bit expensive to eat in, but then this is Madison Avenue, I guess

It was our second stay at the Omni Berkshire in New York and once again it was a good one. I like the hotel (location, service, rooms -- all good) and the Omni brand. The rooms are very nice, the location is great, the staff are friendly and competent and try to accommodate requests (early check in etc). Highly recommended!

The Omni Berkshire is our must stay hotel when in NYC. Well situated, clean, friendly staff. Wonderful loyalty program. Great amenities. The staff is very helpful, politez and courteous. When in NYC, we always choose the Omni.
