Very busy and dirty, but cool to see. Don’t know if it’s worth seeing more than once. Definitely recommend going at night time to everything lit up.

First visit to NYC so had to visiit Times Square, well our Hotel was here so inevitable :-) Great place, very busy but where it is all happening pretty much all day. Lots of police visible so doesn't feel a threatening place at all. Mostly people are here to enjoy themselves.

See the lights, take in a show, go for a meal - if you aren't staying in the area then definitely worth the visit. Places are expensive but then this is the heart of the tourist area.

We loved it !!

You Have to visit times sq if your in New York. It's big and colourful. I liked the area a lot. What I didn't like we're the countless street vendors/conmen, call them what you want. They are everywhere and try putting things in your hand, even when you say no they still harrass you down the street.
Somewhat ruined our trip the Sq. If you can put up with the hassle then it's well worth a visit.

Its one of those touristy places that you have stop by and take some photos. Go at night when its all lit up for the biggest effect..

Time Square is an exciting place especially at night when all the lights come on. If you like to see Broadway shows at discounted prices, be sure to check out the TKTS booths right in the middle of Time Square. Same day shows on the list may get up to 50% off.
Here's a Don't Do - There are people dressed in Disney or other action character costumes hanging around wanting to take pictures with you. Don't do that. They will ask you for money after the fact.

The quintessential New York experience is a must for all visitors best done at night. So much to see from the throngs of people, hundreds of skyscrapers, shops galore, street performers and people everywhere.

Really enjoy the billboards as lots of cool animated features especially the M&M’s billboard.

Totally loved the place, the real symbol of NYC. Our son and us we were overwhelmed of the constant activity going on in Time Square 24/7.

We stayed on Times Square are it was brilliant. Everything you could ask for. Obviously you pay a little more than out of the tourist areas but not too bad. Beware of beggars and conmen selling CD's. Can be very pushy
