I just recently returned from a visit to NYC. I went to the Frick as they were displaying Renoir and other Impressionists in addition to their regular exhibit. It was great! And the best thing about it was that it is a perfect size for about a two hour visit. There was not so much on display that you couldn't take in the entire offering nor feel like you had missed anything. The Frick has Rembrandts, Turners, Renoirs, Desgas that are all displayed in a wonderfully elegant house that is truly one of the exhibits itself. This museum is a must-see in New York city"

The court yard is a must and to walk by the gardens facing 5th avenue in spring is very satisfying.

I was so much looking forward to this small gem of NY Museum and wasn't disappointed. Located in a fantastic mansion with a wonderful peaceful inner courtyard one feels immediately transferred to 18th century NY. At the moment a stunning Renoir special exhibition. An absolute must see, as the mansion it self is so beautiful.

Ducked in here after 10 year absence while in Gotham visiting kids. What a delight. Don't miss. It's compact and quick but a beautifully curated collection in an equally beautiful home
