Unless you are a soccer fan, don't go on soccer nights!! Unbelievably noisy and crowded. Friendly servers. Fish and Chips not great.

Great location just down from the Hampton Inn on 35th Street. Calm atmosphere with great beers on tap. Waiters and waitresses were polite and were very attentive. Jason took good care of us...made us feel like we had been coming there for a long time instead of just the four days we were in town.

Being located right next door to our hotel, Hotel Metro, made it a convenient spot for lunch before setting out for our day's activities. Both the food and service were good.

I consistently have a wonderful time at Playwright! Aside from the fact that the staff is wonderful (they seem to genuinely like working there, which speaks volumes for management), they consistently have great food and the atmosphere is just plain fun! It's warm and welcoming. I visit the Playwright a few times a month and always feel welcomed, like I'm returning home. I highly recommend their burgers, with a side of Sweet Potato fries instead of the house fries!

So we went to the Book of Mormon show and after we thought we would go for a bite to eat and a few drinks. We ordered wine and it taste like it was watered down. We ordered the sheppards pie, the platter and the nachos. The sheppards pie was good but needed to be heated more. The Platter was so bad we had to send it back. The chicken on the nachos were cold. They got the food out quick but at what cost?? Then there was this guy in the back yelling at an employee it was so disrespectable. We decided that we would just leave because it wasn't a good experience. Our waiters though were very nice guys!
