I couldn't agree more with the recent review in the San Diego Reader--lame place. Trying to cook so many ethnic dishes is way to hard and rarely comes out anywhere near great.
For a place that's supposed to be "the bomb" there was little to warrant a return trip.
Lamb tagine was a joke , fake cous cous and no flavors. Appetizer size portion served in tagine. Come on.
Seabass was mediocre served with the worst non flavored black rice and beans.
Appetizer of calamari was with hoisen sauce from jar with peanuts.
Red curry with 3--three-shrimp was 21$ and also tasted like from jar. My wife had to had 1/4 bottle of hot pepper sauce to cut the sweetness.
Sorry, but won't go back.
