Overall great staff and room was spotless on every return to the room. Quiet and elevators were exceptionally fast. Concerns erupted a day later upon viewing my statement. To have my room charged several times for "gift shop" items which equated to $48.00 was disturbing. So, I called and inquired on the discrepancy only to be told if the room number was given then the room was charged...It's not that $48 dollar is going to take the pepperoni from the pizza for me, but I was blown away by the audacity of the front desk to imply it's not their fault. I grabbed 1 energy drink on my 1st morning there that i was told was $7.00 so I was ok with that. Gave my room number and that was that. The front desk said standard protocol is to ask the last name as well. That was not the case when I thought back to the drink I ordered. I saw a charge for $50.23 for breakfast which my lady and I went to eat 1 time only to wait for 20 mins to be acknowledged. We did not eat the buffet for $27.00, instead ordered each an English muffin and eggs. $17.00 each. We ate with 4 other friends that order whatever they ordered and ate. We asked for the check promptly as we realized we were running late for our driver who was waiting. The waitress disappeared and when she did appear we advised her we had to leave, and we would bill to the room. We did not sign any check nor leave a tip as I was going to grab cash and tip her that way. My friends strong advised no tip for the horrible service, so I concurred. There was a $10 dollar tip made on my bill by the waitress without my knowledge, that infuriated me. To add to the fire...The other 2 checks were exactly the same! The front desk was awesome though I must say, I forgot my key card at least 3 times and the gentleman did not hesitate at all to provide me a new one. Check in was seamless.

This hotel was close to the airport and a hotel shuttle was available. The hotel was beautiful and was a great location with an amazing view. The restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. Typical hotel pricing for meals. Rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. We stayed there the night before a cruise as did many people so it was a bit crowded but didn't have huge waits to be seated.

Fabulous view across the bay to Boston. Wonderful walking beside the water around towards the city skirting East Boston. Great to catch an international early morning flight and only have to stagger down to the foyer to get the shuttle bus to the terminal on the morning. I count my half day and night at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor as a last day of my US holiday. Wouldn't miss it.

Like many things about this hotel. Check in was fine. We're globalists so though the hotel was sold out of King rooms, they upgraded us to a double junior suite. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine but water pressure in the shower was really poor. The views over the harbor are great. The restaurant is actually good and food and drink prices are pretty reasonable for a hotel. The shuttle service could be improved. They say it comes every 20 mins but with our pick up and then drop off, it was a bit longer than this and the shuttle was pretty crowded. We placed a wake- up call that never happened (big oops) but we woke in time. Some areas in the room and common spaces are showing some wear and could use some touch ups.

no Bed on sheets only top cover on the mattress and when i called to report to front desk they said they would send someone. no one came and i finally fell asleep at 11pm. i had a 7am flight.

Room was very nice with a Harbor view. Front desk attendants were extremely nice and the food in the hotel was good as well.
