My husband and I stayed here one night on a whim! It was the best experience ever. The breakfast was delicious. We plan on going back for his Birthday in July. Can't wait! I just hope we're not diappointed since this time, it's not on a whim :)
I will keep you posted.

It is a Four Season Hotel so the expectations are high, and once again this hotel didn't disappoint.

The lobby is understated and classy, reeks of class and money, but at the same time is inviting. This is a rare combination that makes you feel immediately at home.

The front check in staff is world class. I found them to be kind and caring and genuinely interested that I have a positive stay. The only way that I can put it is that seemed personally invested in my happiness and comfort. Great first impression.

The rooms, though on the smaller side, are gorgeous. The design is elegant, not terribly modern but much like the living room of an extraordinarily rich aunt. Classic.

The beds are simply divine and encourage loungy mornings after drinking too much wine at the Bristol Lounge.

Though not the same since Aujourd Hui left, it is still in a prime location in Boston...near both the business centers of the city and (if you're a tourist) near the "sights"

Highly recommended

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the decor and design of our guest rooms and lobby. Moreover, we're pleased that you experienced exceptional service, starting at check-in with our fantastic Front Desk team. We do miss the grandeur of Aujourd’hui as well, however it now serves as a premiere wedding and event space, and with its private kitchen and bar access, it offers unique options for clients (some of whom have even taken their guests inside the kitchen to do hands-on cooking!). The Bristol Lounge has also adopted an exciting and diverse menu with all-new options that appeal to the former Aujourd’hui clientele - we hope you had the opportunity to try some dishes as well. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the future - we’d love to have you!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend with our children and parents. While the suite was priced a bit high for the size of it, my parents were able to book a room at half price so it worked out for that reason. Check in was a breeze, kids were able to choose a toy and backpack from cart (booked kidcation package), and we were able to check in at the time I told reservationist we would arrive which was much earlier than listed check in time. Once we got to room, kids were excited to see the special soaps and diapers, etc. that were left for them. Housekeeping even wrote their names on inside tub with the bath crayons. My 13 year old was impressed by this. We left to explore once dropping off things and returned at 4 to find special snacks and drinks left for all 3 kids. A root beer, whoopie pies and m&m's for eldest, a juice box and age appropriate snack tray for 3 year old, and special crackers and bib for baby. All very nice touches!
We had dinner, (all of us), in Bristol Lounge and our waiter was very accommodating to kids. Even brought out a portable DVD player for our son. Helpful with his wine ideas and food choices. Food was very good. Disappointed to see some people wearing their shorts and t-shirts, come on, at least put on something nice! After dinner we had the "icecream man" come to our room and we all were able to have him make us sundae's. Cute idea except kids were ready to sleep then.
Don't hesitate to come if you have children or if not. The children are not running around yet the hotel truly made us feel welcome which doesn't always happen with 4-5 star places. We are looking forward to coming again as we felt so welcome and Memorial Day weekend seemed to be a great time as many had left the city. I am sure they try to keep people with kids away from rooms of single or business travelers so you won't be disturbed. Love the ability to walk everywhere in this city.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are over the moon that you enjoyed the Kid-Kation package; our goal is to provide children (and their parents too!) with fun, engaging activities and amenities throughout their stay. Our Housekeeping team is thrilled that you noticed their special touches such as the kids’ names on the bathtub and the special baby items. And The Bristol Lounge staff too is pleased that your family experienced wonderful food and service, just as it should be! For your next visit, we’ll be glad to arrange the Ice Cream Man to arrive a bit earlier in the evening...he’s our biggest celebrity here at Four Seasons Boston! We're so happy that your visit was memorable - that is the best compliment we could receive.

Spent a beautiful weekend at this hotel, which I understand is the only 5-star in Boston. They deserve the rating at every stage from the front door to checkout. Food, service, rooms, comfort, assistance...everything...is top notch. And the location is unbeatable.

Room Tip: Park view if you can get it.

very pleasant, great location. Rooms are well decorated. The staff is excellent.
Fitness center is okay but crowded not enough equipment given the hotel is almost always full and lots of people use the center. Great place for a conference or meeting. As a business traveler, I appreciated the quiet and the service. This is not a place for families which I find a positive for a business trip.

We’re delighted that you enjoyed your recent stay and experienced fantastic service. Though our Fitness Center is expansive and private, there are certainly times when it can be busy. We appreciate you mentioning this, and we do hope that it was enjoyed nevertheless. In the summer months it does quiet down, as many prefer a dip in our pool or a jog along the nearby Charles River Esplanade. On weekends, the Hotel is filled with a great number of couples and families. We have many offerings designed just for them - including Cookie Making Classes, Passport Program, the Ice Cream Man, Raid the Fridge program and more. Our goal is that all guests - whether business or leisure travelers - feel attended to and cared for. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your comments with us.
