Korean/Japanese blend with good tasting well-prepared food served very quickly. Great kimchi. Spicy dishes particularly good. Mainly college kids in here.

We came here for bibimbap, but apparently they are known for their tofu soup. The bibimbap was really bad, barely any meat at all in it for $15. Obviously people don't order it very much. Decor is pretty shabby also.

This was our 4th visit to Kaju. The other visits we ordered the soft tofu soup combinations. These were all very good and based on these previous visits I would give this restaurant 4 stars. This visit we both had the Dolsot Bibimbap. This is a staple on many Korean menu's.We ordered it with beef bulgogi, the thin sliced marinated beef.I have had this here before and it is very good.In the Bibimbap they gave us about a teaspoon. They also cooked the customary fried egg until the yolk was hard.Often times the egg in this dish is served sunny side up so the yolk breaks and mixes in with the rice and vegetables. The paucity of the delicious bulgogi and the overlooked egg made for a bland dry dish. There are many Korean places in Allston,Ma where this restaurant is located.Come to Kaju for the soft tofu but get your Bibimbap elsewhere.

Very busy during lunch, worth the wait for a table though. Bibimbap, bulgogi, and tofu soup were all delicious. The side dishes all added wonderful flavors to the meal. The restaurant is small and not particularly nice inside. The food definitely distracts from the lackluster decor and is well worth a visit.

Authentic, fresh, fast, great value, nice service. I would say that it could have been cleaner for a 5 stars rank. You will find here 99% of the eaters Korean Students. No need for a better recommendation. Huge line outside the store.
