Really amazing place with an intimate feel and fantastic food. The owner and staff go out of their way to make your experience special and they do a great job with gluten free needs as well. Highly recommended place!

We ordered the sampler tour of Italy which was three courses and 8 or 9 items with three bottles of wine for four of us. Excellent presentation and service would highly recommend this place

Aria is on the second floor on Hanover St. Modern Pastry to the left and Bricco to the right, so easy to miss. The restaurant is small, but very accommodating. The service was excellent, as they want to move tables. The portions are large. We had the calamari and thought it was for 2, the portion was large. We also had the eggplant app, which was layered eggplant and again the portion was enough for a full dinner. We skipped the salads in order to make room for the entrees. The pasta special (was pricey) was good and the osso buco was outstanding, served with a crispy polenta. Overall very good

After the climb up the stairs, you are rewarded with a lovely ambiance, good service and enticing aromas.
The tables are set up European style, in that they are very close together. This requires assistance pulling out the table for the person seated at the back, and then being "tucked in." If this bothers you, you may be better off going to a different restaurant.
There are very good wines available by the glass.
The eggplant melanzane appetizer was enough to share - could have used a bit more red sauce.
The Pollo Greca and the Porchetta Arrosto were both delicious, nicely seasoned and generous portions.
A piece of chocolate cake is plenty to share for dessert.
As some other reviewers have noted, Aria can be quite noisy. The good thing is, it's happy noisy - laughter, satisfied diners.
We would return.

Our party of 8 had an amazing dinner at Aria last Saturday night to celebrate my husbands retirement. Our reservation was for 7:00 but Massimo, the owner, called our cell to let us know they were running about 10 minutes behind. No problem for us. We had a table by the window and opted for the Tour of Italy, chef's choice menu. We ordered excellent martinis and Massimo's recommendation for a bottle of wine. We all had so much fun sharing such delicious, fresh and authentic food. We had limoncello shrimp, calamari, lamb chops, caprese salad as a first course, all absolutely delicious!
We were then brought out a small serving of linguini with clams. Even the few who didn't know they liked clam sauce couldn't stop raving about it. Then came the entrees..WOW.
Pork Osso Bucco, rib eye with truffled fries, a chicken dish, ( which my son absolutely loved) and scallops. We shared desserts of tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate cake, as well as espresso, grappa, limoncello, espresso martinis....we were celebrating after all :) The service was great and we never felt rushed even though we were there for a good 3 hours. Thank you Massimo and all your staff. I have already booked my birthday dinner for next month!
