I dine out quite often, and recently had the opportunity on a recent evening out in Boston to dine at the Top of the Hub. What a lovely experience, and particularly iconic for me due to wonderful childhood memories. My parents instilled in me a love of good food and restaurant dining, and although the widespread spectacular views are part of the lure, this dining destination has certainly endured the test of time. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening to Kim, Melissa and especially our perfectly wonderful server Bladimir (and its not Vladimir, per his parents,) we were there for over three hours and he was absolutely wonderful. Timely, friendly and very knowledgable, he set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. We love good food and ordered everything in sight and enjoyed a couple of bottles of good champagne which was perfectly chilled and perfectly introduced served, and refilled. Restaurant noise on a very busy evening was somehow very well controlled and of course Atmosphere and views gorgeous ! A few dining suggestions for others from this 'fussy' gal would include : tuna tartare, pumpkin gnocchi, the chilled seafood tower appetizer special (that included the freshest Duxbury oysters, shrimp and lobster tail! JUST DELICIOUS), the Seared salmon, North Atlantic swordfish and the filet Mignon. Well done folks, and many thanks for a wonderful experience. Hope to return very soon.

Thank Dja D

Went for birthday celebration. Our food was really good. We had the fish. The view was awesome. The waitstaff were incredible. We were lucky it was a clear night. We could see for miles You can go on another floor in the Pru and see the view only which is just incredible. They give you veterans discounts.

No better public spot in Boston to get a spectacular view of Boston. And that is what you come here for, day or nighttime.
We had been to dinner a couple of times and enjoyed the view, atmosphere and food.
Lunch was much quieter. The food was average at best. My wife had the soup of the day, chicken and vegetable which was both small and so so.
I had the burger and fries. Fries were perfectly crunchy and salted. The burger was over cooked, bland and quite small compared to other fine restaurant burgers in the area.
So go for the view but at lunchtime don’t expect much out of the food.

Plenty of much better restaurants in town, so don't go unless you have a friend from out of town who'd enjoy the view-- or unless you yourselves have never been to Boston. You'll have a better chance of a table in a window if you're staying in a good hotel where the concierge can help. Otherwise- don't book online. Call the restaurant and beg. We had an unmovable table bolted to a bulkhead that was small and (with bolted down seats) had a ridiculously short space between edge and belly. By the way, check the weather before you go. Views easily obscured by fog or precipitation.

Went up to look at the view but then found this super cocktail bar.
What a view it was a sunny December and could see for miles had an amazing few cocktails can’t remember the name but had pineapple in it. Bar man recommended it when I said I liked sweet cocktails excellent location and worth every penny.
