I've been here a few times and it's always good. The food is good, not great, but the servers are attentive. I had the chicken Caesar salad and it was very good and very large. We were a group of 3 twenty somethings with 2 parents and it was a very comfortable place.

I have mixed reviews on the food and service. Ordered a burger and it looked great but ended up making me sick the rest of the night. Not sure if it was a bad experience or what but I'll never eat one from here again.

It was the first restaurant I ate at when I moved to Allston and was excited to go. After a long 6 hour drive my cousin and I were ready for a drink and food. We sat there for at least 3 hours talking and watching some of the various games on TV. We each ordered an appetizer, salad and meal and were drinking as well (3 drinks each). When we ordered a round of shots were informed by our waitress that we could not order anymore alcohol. Neither one of us were drunk and we were frankly shocked by this. When we asked to speak with the manager he said it was some "policy" of theirs.

Where I come from you don't get cut off unless you are clearly intoxicated and neither of us were close to that point. I do not understand how on Thursday nights you can have all the college kids come in (some underage) and drink till they're good and drunk but when I was just unwinding with my cousin watching a game and not bothering anyone I get cut off. Really should re-evaluate your "policies". Would love to see a handbook that said you couldn't have more than 3 drinks in a sitting because if thats the case it should be applied all nights of the week!!

We wanted to catch the Habs vs Blues game that evening and the hotel staff at the Courtyard Marriott told us that this place was just the place to go for that. We took a cab from Cambridge which was about 10-15 minutes away from us and were not disappointed with our decision.

The manager there greeted us and took us to a booth that actually had its own tv monitor in it as well as a bunch of other overhead tv all over the bar. He made sure that both games we wanted to watch were on our line of vision and then sent a server to our table.

The service was very good at first but then the place started to get really busy and we did not get as much attention then. But when we did get attention, the service was always excellent and with a smile. We ordered the risotto Parmesan balls and those were phenomenal. The ber specials were also great with a vast selection of local beers. The only downside to our evening is the platter of tatter tots we ordered; those were absolutely not that good and we did not even eat more then two each. On the flip side though, the manager took them off our bill and that was very nice and appropriate for him to do that.

Overall, and outstanding place to go catch any sporting events as they have pretty much every channels out there. Thursday is also a very popular night there, so I suggest getting there before 8 pm.
