This beautiful brownstone building in Union Park is a wonderful place to stay whilst visiting the city. It is really homey, very tastefully decorated, and I would happily recommend it to anyone wanting, as we do, somewhere to call home for a few days rather than an impersonal hotel room. We had a deluxe king room on the second floor, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom really big with a great shower, and a nespresso coffee machine. No breakfast, but fruit and granola bars in the room. Would love to stay again should we be back in Boston.

Perfectly placed in the most beautiful part of Boston, my stay here (for a work trip) was just lovely. The whole building and the rooms are beautiful and every need was catered for. The coffee machine in the bedroom was fantastic! I would recommend going out of your way, if you had to, to stay here.

This bed and breakfast is amazing. It's perfectly located in the south end and is a short walk to downtown. The rooms are all quite nice, but if you're tall be warned that the standard queen rooms have sloping ceilings so you may need to watch your head. Each room has its own bathroom (at least the standard queen and king rooms do) and they have been gorgeously renovated. There is a small kitchenette on the top floor with coffee and tea and small fridge, which was very convenient. The stairs are steep so if you don't want a long climb opt for the king rooms which are on the second floor.

I highly recommend this hotel and I'd definitely return!

Based on Trip Advisor reviews we thought we would try out 14 Union Park this year for the Marathon and we couldn't have been happier! This well taken care of historic brownstone was a great place to call home for the weekend. The fruit bowl and granola bars are all you need for Breakfast. If you want a little more the South End Buttery is nearby and has great Latte's and breakfast options. The location was within walking distance to Prudential, Amtrak and other transit options. The street 14 Union Park is on is so quaint. We loved the view of the park in the middle of the street. Should you want a slightly quieter room you may want to request one looking out the back of the house but noise wasn't really an issue. Fair warning there are a lot of stairs and no elevator but we did not find them cumbersome at all. The bed and linens were incredible and the bathroom was large and beautifully done. The parlor room is such a wonderful and welcoming space when you enter. I would highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed on the second floor in the blue room. It was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern and functional. The stairs going up to the rooms are not for the faint at heart but the home was quiet and beautiful. The area was perfect for shopping, dining and even had a grocery down the street. We used Uber to get around and it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

Room tip: The Buttery down the street to the right is perfect for morning coffee/breakfast.
