“Charming and cozy”
Reviewed 27 March 2012

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at 14 Union Park for our honeymoon. It was charming, comfortable, and the staff were great. The bed was very nice and we slept so well. The continental breakfast was fresh and good quality stuff. I would recommend it 100%.

Room Tip: The Green Room has more privacy (private bathroom) but it is on the top floor (so many stairs) and i...

My bf and I stayed at this bandb over the St. Patrick's Weekend, and when we arrived there had apparently been a miscommunication as the staff thought we had cancelled and there was no key for us! Devin, however, was extremely responsive and even though it was near midnight fixed up a room for us right away. The place is spotless, elegant, and in a lovely neighborhood near an excellent bakery for breakfast. I have to say that Devin was extremely apologetic and wrote us an email asking after us and wishing us safe travels. Yes, we will be staying here again. =)

Over the past year (and our first year) we have had great feedback and made leaps-and-bounds improvements! One of which is transitioning to a formal reservation system to help avoid confusion on bookings and cancellations. With the help of our great professionals in the reservations world guest reservations and check-ins are now automated and seemless. Thank you for the great feedback!

First off this place is cozy, common room is on top level. The manager was not in house which means we had to wait a bit when we needed him. He was very responsive. We had a bit of a problem with a few things: one of which can basically happy anywhere regardless of how precautions are taken; he met ALL our requests, did not give us a problem with any of our demands, and was very willing to work with us. Even offered a refund if we desire. Location is prime, and once again well managed.

We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for 4 nights in November and it was fantastic. Its in a great location, on a quiet street but close to restaurants, cafe's, transportation and conveniently near a post office and laundry. Easy walking distance to the city.

Devin, the manager, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We flew in on an early flight and as requested our rooms were ready early that morning. We had booked 2 rooms ( for 4 people) on the 2nd floor of this gorgeous house. We ended up having the entire place to ourselves as no one else had any rooms booked. The bedrooms are huge with lots of rooms and cupboards and are decorated very nicely, as are the bathrooms (always stocked with great amenities). There is a common lounge room upstairs with a tv, as well as the tv's in the bedrooms. The whole house is absolutely stunning and well-maintained.

The little kitchen on the top story was also well stocked with breakfast (cereals, juices, tea and coffee, pastries, muffins and yoghurts). It was fantastic to have this there every morning.

Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Its an authentic Boston experience in a gourgeous end of town in a stunning brownstone home. A brilliant stay!

We had a fantastic time in Boston which was greatly enhanced by staying in the best B&B in the best end of town! Go to the restaurant located on the LH side of the main street for dinner (that is recommended in your guide). Can't remember the name. We travelled for 5 weeks and this was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks!
