our stay at citizens was exceptional! highly recommend this property for your stay while in Boston area. very conveniently located to TD garden arena, Banners and little ITALY! where you have so much to choose from!

They hand you this annoying list of "house rules" when you check in. And many of them aren't even rules, they are just information. Feels very punitive and accusatory to walk into a place and be given "rules" like that. Get outta here lol. The rooms are small but nice, classic northern european hotel feel. IDK if they're all like this but the boston one was. I also don't like that this hotel isn't part of a bigger list of partners for points accumulation reasons. This hotel is fine but probably wouldn't stay here again.

Thank goodness I didn’t pay more than a few hundred for this hotel. Although the location is fantastic and the staff friendly, that’s the extent of the good will I have for citizenM. Our handicap room was a joke, the shower flooded the hallway it was so poorly designed. They tested the speaker system at 5:15AM - after we had finally fallen asleep in our 74 degree room without working ventilation or air conditioning. The bed was at least comfortable, but since we didn’t pay for late checkout we stumbled out tired and very ready to get home.

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced In your guest room and with the unexpected fire alarm. Unfortunately, the alarm was not located at the hotel, but in the TD Garden facility. Booked because it was the most affordable in the part of town. Very cool vibe when you get to the lobby. The room was much smaller than any hotel room I’ve stayed in. It was fine since we only slept there but be aware everything is right there as soon as you open the door to your room. If you don’t like your roomie hearing you use the toilet this isn’t the room for you

Everyone was friendly, check-in was easy, great working space and fantastic location. Was there for a work trip, and the rooms had everything, and the working space in the lobby was fantastic. Nice gym as well, which is great when you are on the road.
