My wife and I celebrated Thanksgiving Day here with my son and his two small children. The place was truly filled from top to bottom, but the crowds were managed well by the staff. As you might expect on this particular day, there was some confusion. But it was well balanced by the excellent service we received. The room was huge, with several buffet lines and serving stations. The atmosphere was inviting, the decor top notch. Our little granddaughters, both less than 6 years old, found a lot of food to their liking. The setting itself, overlooking the mountain range, is gorgeous. There we a lot of photo-ops for us. The location is easy to find in the Asheville area. All in all, it was a great adventure for our little family, and a memorable meal for everyone.

From beginning to end this hotel was amazing. Every staff member was friendly. The view and actual facility are nearly indescribable. This was a late December trip but the roaring fires everywhere kept the cold at bay. We can't wait to come back.

We were visiting in early January. It was cold so we spent one full day just exploring the resort. Loved playing games in the Great Hall. Gorgeous location. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Plus it is convenient to downtown Asheville. So there are lots of great places to explore, if you do decide to leave the resort. This was our first stay after visiting a number of times to eat or for viewing the Gingerbread houses for the National Gingerbread Competition. Looking forward to returning for our next stay.

OMG this place is amazing! Without a doubt the best Christmas my wife and I have ever had. We were there for our birthdays as well as Christmas and they made us feel very special. A free bottle of champagne and chocolates. The spa is unbelievable, the views are beautiful and the restaurants great. We plan on going back in the fall. Well worth the money.

We were so happy to learn how much you and your wife enjoyed your combined birthday and Christmas vacation with us. Thank you for your kind words towards our staff and the spa. We look forward to welcoming you back for one of the most impressive displays of foliage in the country this fall.

This is the place to be for New Year's Eve in Asheville, NC! We have had dinner here twice now for this occasion and both times were perfect! The food is great, atmosphere is amazing, service is wonderful, it couldn't be any better! I highly recommend spending time in the inn even if you aren't staying there too. The gingerbread houses on display this time of year are worth a visit too.

Wonderfull service from entire staff at the Grove Park Inn. The Vue 1913 Restaurant is a good as I have had in Major City fine dining establishments. We had a corner room with view of Blue Ridge Mountains - sunsets were incredible. Although we were in a large resort...you never felt overpowered by too many people. Since Omni Resorts bought the Inn it has returned to its elegance and service that it was previously noted for in the past.
