Description: Rhubarb, at the heart of Asheville on Pack Square, is a comfortable place for friends, families and strangers to gather and share in the magical recipe of food and drink and the table. The menu is inspired by seasonal, local ingredients and pays homage to the bounty of regional and American cooking. A wood-fired oven and grill complement the rustic creations. Rhubarb serves lunch, dinner, brunch and Sunday Supper, a communal dining experience served family style that reflects the bounty of the local weekend markets and the products of the guest farmer.

Pitifully small portions for the prices - four oysters for $12, two meatballs for $11. Pimento Pups were a better value - four for $6.50 but were so overbreaded you couldn't taste any pimento. This was our second visit. Same impression the first time, but we thought we'd give them another try. No more.

Saw this resturant on the Food Network and had to give it a try. From the salads to the main course everything was incredible. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. The Mongolian lamb ribs were great!! Highly recommend

We ate here right after it opened - and again last night. Our meal was nothing short of incredible. We started with pimento cheese balls, followed by meat balls. Both were delicious. And we decided to just eat some more delicious appetizers for dinner. We had Mongolian ribs, burrata chese with marmalade onions, oysters, salad, and of course wine and cocktails. I would give each of the dishes a 5 star review. Cooked perfectly. Delivered promptly. And ohhhhh so delicious. And the dessert was over the top - a banana concoction worth sharing with the table.

Above and beyond the call was the wait staff. All very friendly and professional. They appeared when needed and disappeared into the background the rest of the time.

We are locals 6 months a year and I will be back. Highly recommended.

We loved the quality of veggies and the perfection of the shrimp! Best shrimp I’ve ever had. The Manhattan was strong but amazing. I would go back to this place over and over to see what creative dishes they come up with.

No trip to Asheville is complete for me without a trip to Rhubarb. Conveniently located on the Square, it constantly surprises me with additions to an already amazing menu that changes daily according to the best available foods.
Lamb spare ribs are my favorite, but this time dessert was the knockout item. We had Cinnamon Beignets with Cinnamon Buttermilk ice cream, Bourbon Pecans and pieces of Benton's Bacon and I have no idea what else, but it was AMAZING!!!
Someday I am going to sit at the Chef's Bar and see how it is all done.
