Wow! When we read the reviews about how great Curate was we were a little suspect. No way it was that great! Guess what? It was that great and better! Our server Avery was a dynamic well versed expert who help us order perfectly (yes, perfectly) prepared selections.
We travel and I must say this restaurant was the tastiest, most fulfilling meal I've had in MANY YEARS. Whew! It was so good I book a return trip two nights from now!
Everything on the menu POPPED! Let me repeat, everything was delicious! We left stuffed, satiated, with a full smile on our faces. Five STAR, period.

This is a tapas restaurant and they have quite a large menu that can leave one rather confused- the staff do a good job making recommendations. It was fun to watch the cooks 'doing their thing'

We saved the best for last. Not too familiar with Spanish foods. Thought it would be good to learn. Glad we did. Had a fantastic waiter in Brian. He guided us in what he thought we would enjoy based on a few questions. He did not lead us astray. Figs, ham, goat cheese!! Loved this. Going to try to replicate. Would be great Party food. Ham fed with acorns. Lovely. Watermelon/tomato salad. Check. Octopus with Yukon golds was interesting and good. Very tender. Trout was very good. Pasta filled with meats covered in bechamel and manchego. Pretty rich. Nice salt. Loved the asparagus with romesco. Definitely making this. Loved loved loved the romesco. Dessert was the Pine nut and olive oil cake. Very light. Slightly sweet. Perfect ending.

Thanks, Brian for the excellent guidance.

We took a foodie vacation to Asheville, and of the dozens of restaurants we visited, Curate was by far our favorite. The cuisine was phenomenal. Libations and wine were perfection. The service was impeccable - the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and even the manager made time to every table in our area. Make reservations ahead of time! It's tough to get in, but worth it. Can't wait to go back!
