“The cabin of tranquility.”
Reviewed 9 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

If you are looking to relax and listen to nature, this cabin is for you. The sound of the stream just outside the door was incredibly calming. Hummingbirds and turkey abound and we were even able to bring our three Westies along on our vacation. The cabin has everything you will need for your stay including Dish TV and Internet service. We brought enough food to cook for the week, but we did venture out on two days to Asheville and Mars Hill, which are both a short ride away. Great location and a well maintained cabin. Thank you Tammy!

“Great Cabin in Seclusion”
Reviewed 6 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My wife and I stayed the week at Wolf Branch Cabin for our one year. This is a beautiful cabin and secluded, off the beaten path. We really enjoyed listening to the creek (which is right next to the cabin) in the mornings and evenings! You won't be disappointed - enjoy!!

“You will want for nothing, except a longer stay”
Reviewed 3 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Wolf Branch Cabin was truly one of my nicest experiences in all of my travels! The mountain setting is truly breathtaking and the rural roads to and from were filled with beauty around every turn. We enjoyed the hot tub, porch and deck and of course all of the local birds and wildlife.
Tammy was a joy to rent from, she was prompt to reply in our inquiries and it is obvious that she loves this house as much as her guests! We enjoyed all of her beautiful and fitting choices of artworks and objects. You will feel right at home from the minute you walk in the door! Close enough to Asheville and other charming small towns, but you will also be quite content to just stay put and relax, listen to the creek and stargaze at night. This most special place was very hard to leave!

“An Absolute GEM!”

Wolf Branch Cabin is, in a word, magical!! We spent 5 days over Thanksgiving - what a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Literally our Thanksgiving dinner was under the stars, beside the campfire, with the creek bubbling by. It was an enchanting holiday that we'll never forget!

The cabin is immaculate and absolutely a gem! The sun room is fabulous, great place to read... and the hot tub was perfect - sparkling clean and relaxing. Tammy is a terrific host, you'll arrive to all the comforts of home.

A five star experience start to finish! Thank you to Tammy for allowing us to share this magical place!

“Quiet, secluded and wonderful cabin in the woods”

For those of you who really want to get away, this is the perfect cabin. While you think that the one lane logging road into nowhere couldn’t possibly lead anywhere, it winds around to this oasis that sits nestled in between 2 mountains and is heavily wooded. It was an adventure just getting to the cabin but well worth the trip. The cabin is just as described and contains everything except for groceries. We love the fact that the cabin had lots of windows, letting in the natural lighting, but was still very comfy considering it was getting cold outside. I can honestly say that the only noise that you hear is the loud rushing brook that runs next to the cabin, the trees rustling, and the birds. Not a sound of the outside world. While we had some trouble hooking into WiFi, it made us spend more time outside for just plain downtime. We stayed 3 days and went out only once for groceries. We had our dog with us and she thoroughly enjoyed it since the cabin is extremely pet friendly. Her biggest complaint was that we took her for too many walks so she was exhausted by the time we left. If you want to kick back and relax, this is the place for you. I might not suggest this cabin for those who want to be in the thick of civilization and do lots of activities since the cabin is rather remotely located. It takes about 30 minutes just to make it to the small town of Mars Hill. But for those who want quiet and peaceful solitude, fresh air, beautiful skies, and the chance to reconnect to nature and your fellow travelers, the adventure awaits.
