Everything was under seasoned and pretty bland. I'm a local and this was my first time dining here. It was highly recommended by my friends and I consider myself as having a solid appreciation for fine dining. The wagyue steak was cooked well, but chewy and bland.

Fine dining at its best. We loved everything about it, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the cat... Appetizer was a great way to start the meal, I am not a food critic, but the ground pork wrapped in that pastry was great, the lamb rack to die for, and the filet mignon, cooked to perfection. Chris waited on us giving us some of the most attentive and distinct service we have ever had, the outside patio was just perfect! Great new Spot, just steps from the beaten path...Thank you for having us over.

Moab has come a long way since the days of eating burgers at the A&W root beer stand (or was that in Durango?). There are several really nice restaurants in town now, and this is one of them. I would recommend the antelope burger with mushrooms. I only had a taste of it but it was delicious!

Went here for dinner (after trying to look for it at the old address) .It's at a new location. Should have call. Service was great. Relaxing no rush as it was not crowded on Monday. Ate ahi appetizer ( sauce salty), vegetable medley (flavorful& sweet), & elk burger (best dish-tender, moist, flavorful). Would come back again.

Six of us ate at Desert Bistro based on Yelp reviews and all of us had beautifully presented, well-prepared creative dishes. The elk special was done to perfection and not at all overly seasoned or over cooked. The gyoza starters couldn't have looked nicer on the plate, or tasted better. The rabbit sausage starter, vegetables en papillote, chicken in mole and pork tenderloin all exceeded expectations. We didn't have wine or dessert, but everything else was superb. The food was matched with super friendly, professional service (when we walked in after a day of hiking, we were welcomed warmly even though we were dressed for hiking, not for a nice restaurant), and the new space has wonderful ambience. We would highly recommend Desert Bistro for anyone looking for a high quality dinner in Moab.
