Don't get spooked by the name, the Gonzo is awesome! Seriously, this place is just down-to-earth cool. It has a style all to it's own. Call it quirky, call it eccentric, call it Gonzo.

Very clean - check. Spacious, comfy, homey, colorful rooms - double check. Nice pool and hot tub - triple check. Close to all the action and two blocks from good restaraunts and boutique shopping...you get the idea.

We had two patios, 15 plus ft ceilings in the bedroom, refrigerator, sink...this suite was better than the Hilton suite we had just stayed in (and cheaper too). The continental breakfast and coffee were also decent.

If you're looking for all out amenities - good luck in Moab - then this may not be your place. If your looking for clean, cool, fun, and friendly at a reasonable price, then choose Gonzo. We will definitely go back.

The Pacific Bonanza Society flew into Moab for a four day weekend of ATVs, Arches tours, hiking, and playing. We all stayed at the Gonzo Inn and enjoyed their accommodations.
Gonzo has a free breakfast but could have more items to choose from. We got a little tired of bisquits and gravy.
The staff at Gonzo was very friendly and took care of our needs.
I am not sure I would stay at Gonzo when in Moab again.

While I hate to divulge this secret, the Gonzo Inn truly is one of the nicest places to stay in all of Moab. It has a central location just off the main strip so you can walk to dinner but feels like it's set off on its own. The suites are roomy and nicely laid out. We stayed in one just off the pool/hot tub area. The bed was comfy with nice linens and a down blanket. The living room/kitchen area had a small refrigerator, sink and counter with a dining table. The rooms are well thought out although the kitchens do not come fully equipped with plates, utensils etc. It was such a relief to settle in at the Gonzo after a day in the beautiful Moab outdoors. Breakfast could have been better: coffee was weak and the fresh fruit consisted of bananas and out of season apples. The place is missing an espresso bar and poolside margaritas. In all, however, we had a very pleasant stay and definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: First floor rooms are by the pool but tend to be a bit noisy if children are around.

The Gonzo Inn is an independent inn with a definite southwestern feel. Decor is brightly colored and eccentric. Stayed in a suite with a bedroom (king bed) and a living room (fold out queen couch/ dining table/ mini fridge/ microwave). Also had a nice balcony. Pool and hot tub were well-maintained and relaxing. Continental breakfast included cereal, bananas, biscuits, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and coffee. Free wifi was occasionally slow and sometimes didn't work at all. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The hotel was not located on Main St but near it. Was within walking distance of Moab Diner (which is delicious). Prices are a little higher than some nearby hotels, but in exchange for nicer rooms and facilities. The Gonzo Inn is definitely more upscale than its name suggests. I would recommend this place if you are looking to spend more for a clean, comfortable, unique Southwestern experience.

Stayed after a long day, and liked the room location, the bed comfort , nice linens on the bed. Have been there a couple of times now, and would stay again.

Room Tip: Near the pool is nice.
