We spent two nights and enjoyed every part of it. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Our suite was amazing and had great little touches (robes, bath salts, puzzles). We were able to peek at a few other rooms and they were all beautiful. Our breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. We can’t wait to come back during warmer weather!

The people and service at the Rittenhouse was exceptional. We enjoyed the beautiful room, antiques, and the fire place and hot tub. The food was 5 star quality and we were so happy to be cozy in the quiet room on a cold winter evening!

This was our 1st stay at the Old Rittenhouse Inn. The staff and service were top notch. We stayed in room #3 and it was beautiful, warm, cozy with a spectacular view of the lake. Both dinner and breakfast were 1st class.

Enjoyed our two night stay at the Rittenhouse Inn. From the cozy room with fireplace and hot tub, to the wonderful breakfast and dinner, the Rittenhouse was a perfect winter getaway. The staff was courteous and helpful, and made us feel special. Highly recommend a visit, any time of year!

My wife and I spent a week in Bayfield in early March for our honeymoon and stayed at the Rittenhouse. We had an excellent experience. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have a wonderful breakfast included with our stay and have great specials each day. They even gave us a couple of jars of hot buttered rum sauce when we left as a honeymoon gift.
