My boyfriend and I are obsessed with ramen so this was a MUST GO!!! I read about the chef in many ramen articles and was so happy to hear he opened up a Mensho Tokyo in San Fran right before our trip! We waited in line for 2 hours!!! Yes.. It was worth it. The menu currently is VERY limited and they only serve 3 ramen, all in chicken broth. I prefer pork broth but I needed to try this anyway! We got the creamy chicken broth with pork and duck meat in it. It was delicious!!! The best chicken broth I've ever tried. Seriously. We also had their only appetizer; smoked oysters. Never had oysters that way before.. So that was awesome!!! They serve beer here too so that was a plus! I did see people leaving the line to run across the street to the liquor store so they can drink beers in a paper bag in line.. Shhh....
