“Great hotel”
Reviewed 4 September 2012

Did a quick stop in SF, stayed here 3 nights. Rooms are nice, clean, comfortably house 3-4 people in a pullout sofabed as we were looking to save some money on rooms. Great common lounge area on the top floor with large outdoor deck, gym and jacuzzi. Location perfect for shoppers at union square. Would recommend this hotel if it fits your budget.

I chose to stay here based on the great reviews and price. The staff is really friendly and quick to attend your needs. The concierge (Peter) was extremely helpful with guiding my wife and I through the city. The rooms were stunning and full of space.

Room was unexpectedly big (#1006). Nice big TV, A/C (in fact we had to heat rather than cool), clean, with a small kitchen area (micro, fridge, coffee maker (coffee pillows provided every day) other kitchen stuff). Bathroom with embedded TV in the mirror (!), clean, nice. Staff was helpful. There's a nice club on the top with in and out door sections (complementary coffee (decaf too), tee, hot chocolate), you can lay down and enjoy the sun outside over the city. There's a fitness room on the club level. Computer usage and printing facility (you can easily print your boarding pass). Location is very good, one corner away from Union sqr (city center) and cable car. The hotel is not cheap but if you need quiet, pleasant, comfortable stay at the center, do not hesitate, this is your hotel.

Room Tip: room #1006

It seems like the taxi's don't know where this hotel is. It's a nice enough location but if you want to get to the wharf (which is rather far away) you'll find some public transportation options a few blocks away. They supposedly remodeled the hotel this past summer; I kind of would have liked to see what it was like before since I heard it wasn't that great. Good hotel but it kind of seems like they cut some corners here and there and you'll find some cheap items in the room. The king size bed is hard but the sofa sleeper is even worse! You're sleeping on a 6" mattress with springs poking up here and there. The "suites" are supposed to fit 4 people in them but I thought 3 was too many. Rooms are smaller than I thought, we had a nice terrace outside of our room (509) and there aren't any bathroom fans which causes some issues. There website is a little confusing and there isn't a breakfast service at all. Overall it's a nice hotel, good price for the suites in that city and I would recommend it to anyone travelling there.

Room Tip: 509 has a terrace

It was a great way to top off a 6 week holiday to the states. When we arrived the employees at the front desk were super helpful. Props to Jesus who was the main man at check in.

The room was massive, the bed was comfy. No outside noise whatsoever.

11/10 - would stay there in an instant again.
