Description: A favorite in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, Rose's Café is a hangout for locals who bask in the sun at sidewalk tables, duck inside for a cappuccino, or stay for a leisurely lunch or dinner. Many customers are regulars who frequent our pretty bistro-café that offers table service and deliciously consistent food - Italian fare created using organic local produce, fresh seafood, humanely raised meats, and free-range poultry. Rose's artisan bakers bake a daily selection of pastries, desserts and breads. Menu highlights include: pizzas, daily soups, and house made pastas.

We frequented this little beauty quite a few times on our recent trip to San Francisco, it was suggested to us by a staff member at our Hotel, we are so glad we did, each day has a different menu depending on what the Chef has and wants to cook, the breakfast menu and dinner menu were really interesting, We really enjoyed the Potato Hash, each day had something different added to it. We fell in love with the Gnocchi, one of our party loved the pizza he had, What they did with Beets was yummy, Good Choices on the extensive wine list, the beer choices too. The best thing is you could come every day and there would be something different which we loved. The pastries looked fabulous although we did not try them, the smells coming from the kitchen were making our mouths water, the staff were very attentive and those buys behind the counter creating these little tasty miracles are to be commended.

Love this place. I got some scramble eggs mixed with spinach on a bread and on top a slice of prosciutto, delicious. The home made granola delicious as well. The espresso very good. The place is cozy, nice decor.

Love the concept of building the menu from whatever is bought at the farmers market and freshest.

Organic fare, fantastic everchanging menu.

Pizza was DELISH.

I had the fish with white beans, top notch.

The wine list was exceptional.

The service was not acceptable. We were often forgotten outside, poured our own wine and long waiting.

4 of us visiting from Canada walked from our hotel to this awesome little place for breakfast. We enjoyed the outdoor seating as we watched the hussle of union street. This place seems to be a hotspot for the locals, and it's understandable why. We ordered the "house-made granola with fruit and yogurt (pictured), french toast (pictured), Yukon Gold Potato Hash with Corned Beef, Onions, Cheddar & Organic Poached Eggs (pictured). Can't remember the last order. Anyhow, the service was quick and the food outstanding. Highly recommended for a great breakfast, not cheap but homemade with love.

We came here for breakfast before going across the street to Neja for a haircut - recommended. We both had simple egg dishes and WOW. The potato scramble with two pieces of toast was superb. There is a breakfast pizza, yes, a breakfast pizza. Delicate ham, thin toasted crust, perfect cheese and two eggs baked on top. Coffee great and even the side of toast was made from terrific bread. I will be returning, can't hold me back.
I hear lunch and dinner are wonderful as well.
