As the title of this review suggests, this place is one of the few 24 hour places to eat in SF. Menu is diner fare. Can be crowded late at night. Overall, I'm satisfied and would return.

Thank steven B

typical diner food. Nice staff, very friendly
This is a great place to 'people watch'! The food is average but there is plenty of it!

We randomly walked into Orphan Andy's after a morning tour, and were very impressed. We had no wait time, the service was so awesome. The food was delicious! We had omletts, egg combos, bacon, sausage, pancakes...

I would definitely recommend ORPHAN And I would come back to eat again, and again.....

Absolutely fabulous diner restaurant!
Staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming. A great selection of traditional American diner style food on the menu through Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
We had a bacon cheese burger & a blue cheese burger, cooked to perfection and all very reasonably priced.
Would definitely visit again if in town.
A bit odd you can only access the restrooms, through the kitchen, but whatever, it didn't spoil our experience!
Great central location to The Castro area too.
Well worth a visit.

I came back to SF after 11 years and this was the first stop, it had barely changed at all (except that the little jukebox's are now just for decoration which is a shame). The food is great, prices are reasonable for SF (which is an expensive city) and the service is good too, it's right by the Castro if you want to watch the boys go by. I recommend the Chocolate Chip pancakes.
