The Beef stew won ton noodles is my favourite at this restaurant. The portion is large and about 8 won tons.

try the lunch special they are around 6.95 for 3-5 combination.. For lunch they have a menu that have combo rice with tea for $6.00-$8.00. The servings are HUGE so you really have to be hungry. They serve you "American Style" Chinese food catered more for the Westerner palate. If you are looking for an authentic Chinese cuisine this would not be the place for you. However, if you don't mind once in a while munching on your "A" typical - sweet and sour sauce, lemon chicken and combination chow mein - this is it good food good prices..

My brothers and nephew met for lunch at this small family size Chinese restaurant in South San Francisco. Its located at 385 Grand Avenue, the main street.

Service was prompt as we were provided the menu, once we sat down. No beverages were order, except for tea or water. Fried oyster was ordered. My nephew ordered Mongolian beef over rice plate, while four of us order Won Ton beef stew with noodle. The orders were quickly served. We ate and the bill came to about $40 for five of us! A Cheap lunch that is! We then left for the sunny and warm sun of the Bay area for the rest of the afternoon! Service was friendly.

If ever in the main street of South San Francisco, off of Highway 101, try May Fair restaurant.

Food was plentiful but average and came to the table at strange times. Got our soup first, then rice, then entree, then appetizer. My soda was served in a can with a straw!
