The mission is the place to go for a good night out and aswell fo mexican food. Pretty much every bar you go is going to be crowded on Fridays and Saturdays.

Culture meets hip meets good eats meets funky, greasy yummy border culture and politico coffee conversation while waiting for BART to take you to go see that great congolese dance concert. Oh, and of course Rainbow Natural Grocery is heaven on earth with attitude.

Anyone who's lived here and left knows there is no burrito like an SF burrito--even the bad ones here are better than anything you can get in NY and elsewhere. Try La Cumbre on Valencia/16th for big ones or La Taqueria on Mission/25th for smaller ones. Mission Market good working class market with good fish

San Francisco, especially the Mission is an adult Disneyland. Think great food, bars, and small places to see live bands. It's one of my favorite places to hang out.

Great little bars and taquerias in addition to unique venues like Oddball Films
