I booked this hotel through Hotwire, for our 2 night stay in San Francisco, so we didn't know where we would be staying. It was described as "boutique" by Hotwire which couldn't be further from the truth.
The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is very well located downtown, near the Westfield shopping mall, Yerba Buena convention centre and a short walk from Union Square. Parking in the associated garage is expensive, but there didn't seem to be a decent alternative in the area.
The hotel itself is desperate need of renovation to bring it up to modern hotel standards. Our room was small, but in fairness was clean. The bathroom window had a crack in it which just lent to the general air of disrepair.
In truth, we wanted to enjoy our stay in SF so tried to be out and about as much as possible. I couldn't really recommend this hotel to anyone, as I am certain there must be better places for the same money in the city.More
