Great for all ages, especially those that grew uo with the wonderful world of Disney, or those that want to know more. The exhibits are arranged chronologically with the basement having visiting exhibits - usually featuring Disney artists. Planning model of the first Disneyland is worth the visit as well as the influences of trains, artwork, travel, WWI, on Disney as he matured. Good coffee shop for a snack.

I was raised in a family that went to Disneyland almost every year of my childhood so I assumed I knew almost eveything about Disney. I found the museum very educational and informative for not only my teenage kids but myself as well. It was interesting learning about the early years of Walt, his wife nd brother. I highly recommend you taing the time to go and visit this attraction while in San Fran, well worth the stop.

An out of the way museum dedicated to the life and innovation of Walt Disney and family. Great for Disney lovers and history buffs!! The museum covers Walt’s life from teenage years to his passing and all the magic in between. There is also a theater to watch a full length featured Disney movie. Café and gift shop inside. Tickets were $25 per adult.

The place is awesome especially for someone born before the 90's. Such amazing memories on our favorite toons from when we were kids.
The place is well organized, easy to visit and very clean.
Beware on the food and souvenirs section, they are kind of expensive: 12-15 USD for a fridge magnet..

I'm an Orange County native and visit Disneyland every month. When I heard there was a museum dedicated to the master himself I couldn't wait to go. When I first walked in it looked really small and it was very dated. I almost thought I made a mistake. The first couple rooms take you through the Disney family history and Walt growing up. Then you go through Walt's adult life and early career when he was just getting started. There are early drawings, and recordings playing throughout. Then the museum exhibits start to get more technologically advanced as Walt starts describing his future vision. The museum introduces you to his early cartoons and Disney Characters. As you progress through the museum, you continue to journey through the creation of a Disney world how he built his dream for all of us to enjoy. Seeing behind the scenes of how his magic developed over his life was incredible. If you love history, or Disney, this museum is wonderful.
