“Vintage Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

A fun way to escape the tourists on Fisherman's Warf and enjoy good, old-fashion fun at a turn if the (20th) century arcade. Privately-owned, we were intrigued, mesmerized and spent almost two hours dropping quarters into various curiosities. The play we wanted to attend was sold out, and so was our back-up idea. We would've spent over $200 on our original plans, but $5 at this gem of history satisfied our night out-on-the-town.

“Musee me antique greatness”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 February 2012

Went inside and felt like I'd stepped back in time by 100yrs. Great old games ,photos, music and such history to the place. Only a few quarters can get u so much entertainment. We went there every day at some point or another, couldn't stay away. Great for kids and adults.. Two thumbs up

“a great way to use up your coins before leaving the USA”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 January 2012

We've been here on each of our two visits to San Francisco, in 2011 and 2012. Each time we were able to use up a lot of the annoying coins you collect that can't be exchanged when you get home. Most of the machines work just fine, some like the air hockey on our most recent visit seemed happy to just eat the coins with no chance of playing. We didn't notice where a staff member might be who could help us with this. Some of these machines are really old and may seem pretty lame by today's standards, but give them a go anyway for their historical value. Great fun and we're in our 40's!

A great place to go for a first date, with little kids or big kids or with out of town guests. Fun. Different. Unique. Memorable. Check it out!

“Expecting a lot more”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2012

I guess the best part is that it is free. There are old mechanical machines, you put a quarter in and see old ragedy things move around...the teens though it was cool for a couple of hours but it looks very ragedy since most of the machines are kept in their original state of decay. These were all at the Cliff house before it burnt and I am grateful they were saved but its not big and a decent way to spend an hour or two.
