We had two nights, August 7th & 8th and had booked only one bed. We called Rich from home and confirmed that we could bring an inflatable bed for our daughter. He was most accommodating. The carpeting was new, everything was clean, the room number 11 was large, the property ful but quiet, and the warm pool was grand new, with nice shrubbery and landscaping. New chairs were plentiful, and the water was warm because they used a solar cover diligently. The coffe area was huge and with the vanilla creamer dispenser, delicious. The vending machines were very economical, there for convenience rather than profits. The other guests were very friendly. The two restaurants and pirates cove mini golf are right there, and the one way traffic due to paving was not an issue.

Spent one night here on our way to P.E.I. What a nice surprise. Room was incredibly comfortable, the room spotless. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend , and most definitely would stay again.

We stayed one night in this motel, and it was perfect: clean, quiet (even though it's close from the main road), close to Bar Harbor (by car of course), the staff at the front desk was lovely.
Only "downside" is there is no breakfast apart from coffee and tea, but it was not necessarily a problem for us since we like driving around to find some place to eat .. would recommend for an all over good motel experience :)

We love this place and will keep coming back again and again. This is our home away from home. The owners are so nice, and it's nice to know they care about our comfort. They know us by name, and they take the time to chat with us. They will do anything to help you, including telling you where you can park in Bar Harbor, how to get around, etc. They are so helpful and so nice. The rooms are clean and have a nice size flat screen tv, roomy bathroom with hair dryer, clean comfortable bed, chairs and table, night tables, and a great outdoor pool. It's a really pretty place and maintained very well. Mini-golf is diagonally across the street, and an ice cream and BBQ place are next door (ignore the other restaurant except for the gift shop -- see my review of that). We had a room with outdoor table, chairs and an umbrella. If you want the porch with the table, you should request that specifically. No need for breakfast that you aren't going to eat there anyway so we are grateful there's no continental breakfast there. We are always rushing out early to catch a boat, so it's nice to not have to pay for a continental breakfast we won't eat. There are plenty of places in Bar Habor where you can go to get something, and there's a general store not too far down the road. Our home away from home! Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: If you want the rooms with the porch, chairs, table and umbrella, make sure to request it

Front desk staff super professional, courteous and helpful - explained detours due to road construction... spacious room (I had Room #14) was perfect - clean, quiet, good strong shower and plenty of hot water... really comfortable king size bed, refrigerator, tv and phone in room, table and chairs, parking spot right at room door, ice cold air conditioning, no complaints at all! I didn't get to use the pool but it looked really nice, huge vending room with tables & chairs with free hot coffee & tea in the morning... beautiful area to just sit out front and breathe the crisp Maine air!
