Tucked away in a quaint corner at the edge of Kailua, this restaurant packs a wallop. The prix fixe dinner runs about $40 but it is well worth every dollar. The air staff washes your hands in rose water then serves you heaping bowls of Harris soup and a large platter of preparared vergetables (hummus, tabouleh, pickled Tomita ones, etc.) plus a basket of fresh breads. Pace yourself because these treats are just the start. There is a phyllo sweet stuffed dish in between but next comes one of 20 or so entrees (mostly lamb and chicken). Then on to dessert and mint tea. The experience is a delight.
