Right up front, if you are put off by unclean bathrooms and a run down appearance, this is not the place for you. If you want a great mixed plate, put your blinders on and dig in. The food is wonderful for the usual mixed plate options. We had the bbq chicken, loco moco, beef ribs and egg foo young. I had never heard of meat jun, which is thin sliced beef dredged in flour and egg batter, so I had to have it, it was delicious. The portions are huge so unless you are really hungry or splitting the plate, the "mini" portions are just fine for average eater. I knew we were in a locals place when we became the center of attention by all the people picking up to go orders and wondering who the strangers were.
