My husband and I stayed in 908 for 3 nights as part of a trip around the island, and we could not have been happier! Beautiful view from the lanai outside, a relaxing place to read and just take in the view. The condo itself was very spacious for a one bedroom, with two full bathrooms! We would have had space for another couple to stay with us and have been comfortable and not felt crowded. My favorite part was the jacuzzi tub in the master bath! We were very happy with our stay!
This well kept condo is part of the Whaler complex which is meticulously maintained; the staff has a genuine interest in assisting you with any needs you may have.
The condo itself has everything you would want or need for a comfortable stay With so many great recreational opportunities nearby you may not be there as much as you would want! We of course had great beach and pool time with nice snorkeling just down the beach. Convenient bars and restaurants are just a short and enjoyable beachfront walk away.
We recommend a sunset cruise which starts almost right from your beach.
If you have a car and get an early start take the "Road to Hana" day trip for a scenic trip through lush tropical forests.
Plan to leave relaxed, refreshed and wanting to return!
Whaler 908 was an excellent experience coupling magnificent ocean views of Black Rock and the neighboring island of Molokai with a luxurious one bedroom unit. The deck is very large, enough room to comfortably eat lunch at the table or relax in the two chase lounges. We particularly enjoyed the views from the deck (which looks to the northwest) of the Pacific Ocean/Molokai and West Maui Mountains. We were even able to spot whales and turtles from the deck. The king bedroom was large and bathroom was very spacious with what looked to be a newly remodeled jacuzzi bathtub and vanity. The Whaler property is always well kept and the beach out front, Kaanapali Beach, is beautiful with great waves, spectacular views of Lanai and Molokai, and some of the best snorkeling a few minutes walk down the beach at Black Rock (which you can also see from the deck). There was also a pull-out couch in the living room so this unit could sleep up to 4. Can't wait to come back.
