“Great local access to Kaanapali”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2012

Easy parking and access to miles of Kaanapali. There's now a boardwalk all along the beach and lots of uncrowded area. Snokeling is excellent, too. Check a local map for location

“North of Black Rock is beautiful, who knew?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2012

What a surprise! Kahekili is peaceful and natural with much better snorkeling than Black Rock near the Sheraton. The beach walk runs along the sand to the Honua Kai. You can walk to restaurants at the resorts along the path and Kahekili Beach park has picnic tables, restrooms and parking. No lifeguards. Trees provide shade but watch out for thorns in the sand when walking near them. This is an easy place to spend a morning snorkeling then have a nice lunch.

“Tons of reef.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2012

This beach has quite a bit of parking and excellent bathroom, shower and picnic facilities. There is lots of reef to look a, but the entry can be a bit difficult as there are rocks just a few feet out.
