We had such a special time when we stayed at Maui Ocean Breezes. The property is so perfect and peaceful, and our baby girl loved playing in the salt water pool and on the property! The views are lovely and the rooms are bright and uplifting, and it was just the perfect size for us as a family of 3. I even was able to get in some yoga in the yoga and meditation hut, which was awesome for this new mama!! We definitely plan to return! They took great care of us and were very accommodating to our needs, especially with a baby. I can't recommend this place enough!!

“A Terrific, Relaxing Experience”

We recently spent the Labor Day Weekend, plus a couple more days, at the cottage, and had a terrific, relaxing experience. This is the perfect, secluded place just at the start of the Road to Hana, yet only a 20-minute drive from the Kahului Airport, and an easy drive over to Lahaina and the Kaanapali/Napili resort areas (if you desire to go there). We ventured out in just about every direction, walking to the shore from just off the main road near the cottage, watching windsurfers at the worldclass north shore beach, taking brief drives to the village of Haiku for a number of tasty meals, and making an early-morning trip to Hana and the nearby Kipahulu-Haleakala National Park. All quite wonderful. But the cottage and surroundings were the real treat. We wanted quiet, and we got it -- in a delightful venue that is at once tres comfortable, well-appointed, and happy. We will not add more pictures to the web -- because the large number of them already posted (both by Anjali the proprietor, and by numerous other guests) accurately portray the whimsical, welcoming nature of the cottage. And the surrounding environs were even more peaceful and lovely than we had imagined -- from the numerous singing birds that greeted us upon awakening in the morning, to the breezes and ever changing cloud formations throughout the day, to the sounds of the ocean and nighttime critters under the vast, starry nighttime sky. And lest one be concerned about service as needed, Alex (the caretaker) lives on the grounds and is completely accessible and responsible -- plus he is fully engaged in the landscape/gardening end of things, and provides fresh, just-picked fruit to compliment whatever you might be preparing in the cottage's fully-stocked kitchen. All in all, we were totally pleased with the cottage, and without any hesitation recommend it to other Maui visitors seeking splendid accomodations somewhat away from the island's numerous beaten paths.
