Unit is situated in a extinct crater and surrounded by lush vegetation and flowering trees.Birdlife is prolific and provide colour and beautiful warbling.Location is excellent being 5 minutes from beachfront. Nice pool and a tennis court provided within 50 yards of unit. We used both.He beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Being in a crate it was very warm in the unit but ceiling fans and floor fans were provided to ease this situation.

Negatives?...the sun does not reach the Townhouse because of the greenery. The lighting on the lanai was poor...suggest additional lighting. The rusty beach chairs were not used and should be replaced with new..also a screw in beach umbrella would be of benefit. As a matter of interest we have stayed in Suite Paradise and other agencies in Popui for a number of years and have yet found any decent beach chairs/umbrella provided by the owners.Seems these times are provided initially and then never updated. We always end up having to rent same. Shouldn't happen. Finally a bench should be placed on the tennis court. The owners association in the crater should look after this or alternatively Suite Paradise.

We are finishing up our eight week stay and it is absolutely perfect. Well stocked and furnished - Markus was very prompt at getting whatever we needed. Located next to pool and tennis court with a lovely view. A beautiful 10 minute walk to several beaches.

This condo has never been updated!
We rent through another company but everything she had was completely booked so we tried others with no luck, everything was booked up so We rented through Mike at R & R Rental last minute for an extended stay with my daughter and her 6 month old baby. We have stayed many times in modest condos in Poipu Kai Resorts and have been very comfortable until we walked into this place.
The carpet had just been cleaned but was horriblily stained and pretty sure there was mold in places.
The ceramic tile in kitchen ,bathroom and dining room was very dirty. I'm sure it hadn't been washed for a couple years.
The living room furniture was so worn there were huge holes in the cushions.
The ceiling fan was full of mold an dust
The kitchen and bathroom partical board cupboards had big chips broken off.
There is a huge crack in the microwave door.
Paper towel rack was full of rust
The bathroom fixtures were full of rust and dust the cabinet was all rusted
The shower door came off its track when I got in to shower! Thank goodness it didn't fall on the baby! There was mold around the tub.
The washer door was thick with mold
No lid for garbage
When I was closing the Louvre on kitchen window the wood was so rotten the handle came off!
This condo should not even be allowed on the rental market until it's cleaned up! It's a health hazard!
When we talked to Mike he said he would send over a cleaning lady(although most of the things here couldn't be fixed by a cleaning). We never did see a cleaner! He also told us we were welcome to move out any time! Absolutely would have if we could have found anything else!

Have stayed at villa #29 twice now. Each visit was met with a beautifully clean fully equipped unit that has every necessity of home and then some. This particular unit is only steps away from the pool, bbq area and tennis courts. The view off the lanai is absolutely gorgeous, you will see all the beautiful vegetation, the spectacular colors, banana trees, it really is breathtaking and so peaceful. This is a very well maintained quiet complex so if you are looking for some quiet R&R, this is the place!! It is also a short drive and/or walk to the Poipu beach, various restaurants and many other beautiful sites you will likely want to see. I highly recommend this particular unit (I understand it has recently been renovated as well) you will have all the comforts of home with that Hawaiian flare and again, close vicinity to the amenities of this complex. I will most definitely be booking this villa time and time again.

Room Tip: Peaceful unit close to all the amenities of this beautiful complex

Stayed there and loved it! Setting is unique with individual villas dotted around this lush tropical setting full of greenery and colorful flowers - like living in a botanical garden. Real quiet (except for song birds all day) and relaxing.

This unit is closest to the pool (where we often had it to ourselves), clubhouse with BBQs, tennis court and a putting green! Lots of walking paths in and around the resort which is a short walk to some great swimming and snorkeling beaches.

The villa is very well equipped with all kitchen supplies as you might expect, but also activity stuff like beach towels and chairs, coolers, boogie boards and even golf clubs (which we used at a nearby 9 hole golf course - Kukuiolono ? - for $9 !). Lots of privacy inside as each bedroom has own bathroom. We relaxed on the huge outdoor balcony (lanai) which stays shaded and cool all day.

We came home totally refreshed, and can't wait to go back.
