We always go here for at least one dinner when we're in Kauai. It's a welcome break from the upscale hotel restaurants. The place is basic; the food is simple but well prepared; service is friendly and efficient, and it's a bargain! Two can have a full dinner, with salad, entree p, and dessert, for less than one entree in most other restaurants in the area. No alcohol, though.

Our family has visited Barbeque Inn many times over the years while vacationing on Kauai. The food is always well prepared and the service is always pleasant.

On a recent trip we found that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly and a few of the lights were burned out but, the food was delicious and our family was all smiles at the end of the evening.

Barbeque Inn is a great alternative to the high priced restaurants in the resort areas and we always feel a little bit like “locals” after we have eaten there!

If you want to eat at a place where the Kauai locals eat, Barbeque Inn should be on your list. I try to eat here at least once whenever I visit Kauai. The portions are usually big and the prices are fair.

Great local style food! Service is really good, considering the number of servers, the amount of people there and the efficiency of their system. Soup or salad and dessert are included with the meals! Oftentimes, running out of the pies you may have a craving for!

This is a local joint, not a tourist destination. But if you want to eat where the locals eat, and for a bargain price, this is the place. Simple fare at rock-bottom prices. Started with a small, but very fresh, fruit salad; I had the crispy pork chops - thin, but nicely prepared and tasty; my husband's panko crusted mahi mahi was also very good. Both entrees came with salad and rice. Dessert was a real surprise: a really good coffee ice cream pie. Although portions may seem small, they're actually quite enough. And the price can't be beat: $31.15 plus tip for BOTH of us. No alcohol license, but we did see other patrons bring their own wine.
