“Hawaiian Atmosphere - Leave your watch at home!”
Reviewed 9 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

We booked this location with the hope of leaving Christmas and all its hub bub behind. Mission accomplished! We loved the location, close to the beach and park.
The evenings and nights were quiet and an open window and a ceiling fan allowed us to sleep comfortably. Never turned the AC on once!
The property is in a community with a small town feel. So if you need nightly restaurants and shopping, this is probably not for you. But if you don't mind NOT driving somewhere to go snorkelling, waking up to birdsong instead of a hotel maid knocking on your door, and eating any time you want with the help of a clean full size outdoor kitchen, this place is perfect.
If you are looking for freedom, this is it.

“Excellent bungalow, quiet location with bay views”
Reviewed 9 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We booked this bungalow through Trip Advisor, based on previous Trip Advisor reviews. We were very please with our choice and would return again. It is an excellent location within easy walking distance to a bay. We loved the outdoor kitchen area and had no problem with bugs (We made sure to clean up after our selves immediately). My son loved the AC in the bedroom. Although I am not a big fan of AC, it was great to have it. We both loved the outdoor shower! Rusty and Janice were excellent about answering our questions quickly and thoroughly via email before we arrived and Shelley (who was in the main house while we stayed there) was very friendly and provided lots of helpful tips, as well as local fruit samples each morning!
We visited some friends who were staying at a fancy resort complex on the island (it was very high-end and commercialized - like being in a bubble). It made us even happier that we did not stay there!! "Look No Further" was private and relaxing. I highly recommend it.

“Pure Bliss - so grateful we stubble on this amazing piece of paradise...”

This was such a wonderful discovery and unforgettable stay..
We feel so grateful we stubble on this amazing piece of paradise...
The location is unbeatable, walking distance from the magical bay where dolphins come and rest... We spent an entire morning swimming with them and then found another little park and swam with a friendly turtle for a good half hour... It was amazing!!
The apartment is super cute, cozy and comfortable and best part is you can see the ocean from the bed!
Thank you so much for your hospitality - we will be back for sure!
Sending you tons of love from Costa Rica!

“Vacation Bliss”
Reviewed 15 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Wow! What a location! The accommodation is right on the shoreline in a small bay within Kealakekua Bay. Put your feet up and watch the amazing sunsets while sipping on a Margarita or two. Take a kayak across the bay to snorkel and swim with dolphins near Captain Cook monument. Beautiful, small Spinner dolphins surrounded us and jumped out of the water. Numerous whales also frequented the bay during our stay.

The accommodation was extremely comfortable - I just loved the king sized bed. We spent very little time inside as there is a complete outdoor living space with all the mod cons. Loved the outdoor shower too! If you have forgotten any toiletries, Rusty and Janice have that covered with even new toothbrushes in the vanity. The lifestyle is that of traditional Hawaiian life where you only go inside to sleep but then again, you don't even have to do that.

Speaking of Rusty and Janice, you could not meet a nicer couple. They are friendly and very knowledgeable about Hawaii and it's sights. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

You will need to rent a car but that is the price you pay for a secluded location. There is plenty of parking space within their property.

We are a couple in our 60s and thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay. We can't wait to return.
