Good place to stay. Nice comfortable bed, small tv, but alot of channels. Clean and cheap. Will do the job to get some overnight rest. Paid about $50 in May. May not be the fanciest, but it is a good alternative to the more expensive options for a quick stay.

Stay the night here on a road trip it's a very reasonable rate. This place really is in dire need of some TLC carpets need to be replaced but it is clean Hot water for showers coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. beds are a little hard and pillows are lumpy. They have a small game room with pool table and a lot of mounted animals on the walls. Owner was very nice

This was the second stay for our 5-year anniversary trip to Jackson Hole, Wy. Not all that we experienced in this hotel in Lusk can be held their responsibility.

We were trying to get to Casper when we ran into a storm that made us turn back to Lusk, Wy. This hotel was convenient, and the gentleman in the office was kind. We paid near $50 for the night.

We got in our room. My wife washed her hands, but found that the sink did not drain (it took about 10 minutes to drain). I informed the office of this and was told that he would inform somebody in the morning. We found a few bugs crawling around the main room and a couple in the bathroom. We also found a pubic hair on the light switch. The television was leaning to one side. Nothing we couldn't deal with for the night.

Uncontrollable circumstance: A storm went through that night, and we woke up to no power. A flash flood had trashed the power station near by, and the town was dark. We also had no water for shower, toilet, or sink. I went to figure out how we could leave the town, and had to detour because of flooded roads east, west, and north.

We didn't get a full experience of this hotel, but of what we did experience, we will most likely not return, unless caught in a storm and have no other place to turn. There seemed to be poor upkeep of the room we stayed in.

Amenities in room: refrigerator, cable tv

Stayed here passing through for one night.
Had a large room for circa $70 and an excellent night's sleep.
Owners, man and wife were really helpful and polite.

This is about 400 metres from the main through road and just a short 2 minute drive to bars, etc.
Best Western etc on main road looks better, but is more expensive and was full.
This was fine for us.

Clean, well kept, super friendly staff and was so happy to have this place recommended to us by the gal at the book solid Best Western in town. We were tired and crabby travelers that found out every hotel and motel was sold out in Douglas, For those of you traveling in that area, be aware that there is a lot of out of town workers staying in the area. Trail Motel was clean, roomy and just right for the price.
