This family friendly event was a great experience and showed a glimpse of how life used to be in the past! Upon arrival, the staff was very polite and helpful! It was educational and had a great setting. There were over a hundred visitors when we were there and I initially thought it would be mass chaos. However, the staff was very well versed on how to run things efficiently!! I was extremely impressed by how fast everyone was able to get food. I would definitely go ready to eat, as they have quite a bit of food and won't stop serving until they see the bottom of the pot! It ended up being an amazing evening and was very informative about the past in Jackson Hole. All of the wranglers were able to answer questions regarding history and wildlife. Highly recommend if you have the chance!

we had several opportunities to do a Cowboy Supper during our 3 week trip, but chose this company as they seemed to be the only ones that offered the covered wagon ride to their camp, & this was definitely the best bit of the experience! The pre-show at the corral gave some interesting background history & set the scene & the meal was pretty good considering the numbers they cater for - "vegetarian option" was to replace the meat with a baked potato, but the beans were good! Be quick if you want a hot drink after your meal though - they're a bit too keen to get everything cleared away & get started on the show! The entertainment was corny, but that was only to be expected & everyone seemed to enter into the spirit. There are toilets out at the camp, but they are of the very basic "long drop" variety & a bit stinky. But riding in the wagons made up for all other inconveniences & we would definitely recommend anyone in the area with an evening to spare to give this a go.

Had a great time, board the wagon train for a 20minute ride through the woods with a few surprises on the way. Take a seat in the large open barn (with heating) and enjoy the pre dinner fun. The food was very good you queue for beef, chicken, tasty beans, salad and bread followed by soft drinks, coffee and choc brownies. No alcohol is available.
There is more fun and a great lively cowboy band after dinner. Then a nice ride home snuggled together under blankets.
Really good fun night with tasty food. Friendly staff and lovely horses.

If you want to enjoy a fun night in Jackson, then try the covered wagon cookout. Beautiful Percheron horses pull the Bar T 5 wagons through the Cache Creek Canyon, chased by Indians on horseback. Then a stop over for a camp oven dinner at the chuck wagon. Great entertainment by cowboys and cowgirls, who interacted with the audience, while serving a great dinner. Good for the whole family.
