Checked in late afternoon and were met by the housekeeper who knew we were coming. Our room was unique, The Rocky Mountain Room, with a twin bed in an old wagon and two twins much lower down.
It was in the low 80s when we arrived and the room was hot. Opened windows did not do much good and the tiny window AC unit was blocked by the wagon bed. Fortunately wind and rain blew in about bed time and the room cooled off nicely. I would not stay here in the summer as the room would be too hot for my comfort.
Breakfast is served family style with all guests, the owner, his wife and a ranch hand. The food was excellent; eggs, pancakes, hash brown potatoes, juice and watermellon.
The property is about 4 miles from Cody on a gravel road but that was not an issue. WiFi worked fine.
