“Great value, dog friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2011

My husband and I stayed here Oct 14th and 15th and found it to be clean, quiet and comfortable. We also were thrilled that they allowed dogs as we travel everywhere with our two. We stayed in the back cabin which was quiet. The bed was perfect with feather pillows and soft cotton sheets. The room felt spacious and we were happy to have a flat screen tv with cable. It worked out well and we were very happy with the reasonable price. There is a continental breakfast but we opted to eat across the street at a local diner with 25cent coffee and food made to order. It was an easy 45 minutes straight into Yellowstone park and we enjoyed evenings in Cody. (It is too far to walk to downtown Cody from here but just a few minutes by car.) Wifi is free but we couldn't get service from our room but it is easy to obtain in the main lodge area. Rooms come with ironing board/iron and hair dryer. The shower was strong and towels soft. Really, it was a nice break from the road and we would stay there again.

Room Tip: Queen rooms share a wall. That wall is the bathroom wall so basically they are quiet. The suites loo...

The Western motif paired with a comfy king bed complete with soft crisp sheets made for a good night's rest while in Cody. We were traveling with another couple who enjoyed the other unit in the two unit log cabin "duplex". The front porch with table and chairs was perfect for evening visiting. My husband accidently left his leather jacket and the front desk staff called us within an hour to let us know they had it. He didn't realize he had left it! Honest staff is a big asset! They have coffee and a basic continental breakfast in the lobby. The lobby staff will supply you with a bucket of ice until 10 pm. I would suggest asking for a back unit if you go during a peak time since it is right on the main highway. We went on an off peak time and the front rooms were quiet.

This was a great motel, extremely clean and well-decorated. Facilities all worked and the hot tub was relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fresh and attractive. Breakfast was fine, with a large room available. Staff was excellent, extremely helpful. We wouldn't need to go anywhere else in Cody next time around.

We stayed at Cowboy Village - It was affordable, clean and the pool area was great for the kids. It's amenities are simple and quarters are on the small side ... but it's decor was "cute" for the kids and we enjoyed it. It definitely is a great option when considering your budget and looking at other hotels in the Jackson Hole area. Would definitely recommend this place!!
