This is what it must have been like traveling in the 1920's, when this place was built. The little log cabins (now they should probably be re-dubbed tiny vacation homes) have been nicely updated. They're clean, functional, and feature a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The common area in the middle has a funky assortment of lawn chairs and gliders, and a campfire was going at night, though we are both introverts and chose to hang out by ourselves. The owner's daughter welcomed us when we arrived and was super friendly and helpful. One small suggestion: those new laminate floors are gonna get scratched up quickly if they don't put some inexpensive throw rugs by the front door, and one in the bathroom to warm up the cold tile floor would also be appreciated. Nice place!

Room Tip: I think they are all pretty much the same!

3rd year in a row to stay here for Longmire Days! We love it here! The vintage log cabins are quant and charming. 4 adults and a 1 year old in cabin 6. I loved how the 2 rooms were separated by the jack and jill bathroom allowing for privacy. Each room had its own entrance, tv, refrigerator, microwave and hotplate. Owners are very friendly and accommodating! Coffee is available every morning in the adorable courtyard with plenty of seating and gas bbq grills for the quests to use. Each night a fire is lite in the chimineas for the guests to enjoy too. Nice, quite, affordable place to stay!! We won't stay anywhere else!!

Fun little place. Cabin updated recently. Really felt like we where in woods. Landscape n flowers cute. Cabin is old but maintained. Felt woodsy. The lady who owns this place is so nice. For the price it's great. There is a fridge and freezer and microwave. A little buggy . Felt like we where in woods. it's a really old cabin;) air conditioner worked great
They have coffee in morning in courtyard and sometimes fires at night

I stayed in the tipi / teepee here .... definitely unique and an interesting option if you are not carrying your own tent or camping gear. It had 3 cots in it (but I was the only one sleeping there that night) and the managers provided blankets and pillows. It was a cool night with temperatures in the 40s but I was comfortable with the blankets and my own travel sheet (like a sleeping bag liner) . The tipi has no ground tarp so it could be muddy in wet weather (it also did not have a door flap capable of closing completely.) The shower house was clean and had hot water and good water pressure. The place does live up to its name and has a nice view of the mountains (which you can't see from "downtown" Buffalo, which is just down the street.)

We have stayed here at least five times.....each time we have gone to Buffalo. We also have a 15yo dog...who is always welcome there. The owners, Melissa and Charles are great. The cabins are rustic...gives you that old western feel....are clean and so comfortable. Melissa has coffee, tea and hot chocolate available every morning, in the court yard...as well as a newspaper. You can just go out in your pajamas to get a cup of coffee----just like being at home! You have that "at home" feeling here.
