I would suggest calling ahead to see which movies are playing, they have two screens on opposing sides of a field that play different movies at the same time. Best part is.it's a two for one, if you get there for the first movie you can stay for the movie that follows. When we went we got to watch Suicide Squad and Don't Breath.
Get there like 30 min before dusk, there is a line to drive in. It works by pulling into a spot (all the spots are on a tiny upward slant so it's a better view of the screen) and tuning your radio to the correct AM station. It's as easy as that.
The front seats have the best view, if you're tall it's harder to see from the back seat. Suggestion bring chairs & blankets to sit outside next to your car instead of everybody staying in the car. If you leave the window down you'll be able to hear just fine from outside the car.
We loved it, can't wait to go back next year.

My friends and I (with our respective families) went out to try this drive in movie for fun and just for experience - a group of 18 all in all. The place is ok. The restrooms are clean which is a plus. It was our experience at the concession stand that made me say not to go back to this place again. The line was long at the concession stand, so when it was our turn to order, we decided to group our orders to make it easy for them. That was such a bad idea! The one in-charge in grilling ( we probably ordered 10-12 cheese burgers, a couple of hotdogs and 3 orders of fries and popcorns) decided to serve first the customers who ordered 2 - 3 burgers first since our orders were a lot. Guess how many customers ordered a couple of burgers? Maybe 8 or more! I don't think this is fair. His reasoning when asked is he wanted to give our orders together and since there is a lot of them so he decided to serve the customers who ordered 2- 3 burgers first. Guess what, we ended up missing a part of the movie, the last one waiting at the concession area and feeling maltreated. We knew that we could bring food and we could have eaten dinner somewhere before going there but I was thinking, while we were there, might as well try what they have and support their business. Wrong decision! Had we eaten our dinner first, we could have saved money, won't have this bad experience, and won't have missed a part of the movie. I just hope the management will look into this, not cool to treat customers like this at all who were just trying to support your business.

Very poor customer service. I would give them a zero if it's possible. We had 6 people in the car, we paid to watch 2 feature movies in Screen 2, but before the 1st feature movie started, 3 people in our group wanted to watch the featured film in Screen 1 instead. You can literally see both screens from where we parked but they wanted to situate themselves closer to Screen 1. The person checking didn't allow them even if they said they are not switching between 2 screens, they will watch the 2 feature film in Screen 1, but they were told they already paid for Screen 2 and even if the movie is just about to start, they can't change.

That's not all. We bought food for 4 families together, approx 16 orders of burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers. We were in the middle of the line, probably 10 in front of us and 10 behind us. They decided to fill all the short orders, even the 10 behind us and work on our "big order" last which made us miss 30 mins of the movie and they're not even apologetic abt it. We tried to follow up on our order when we saw people who ordered behind us got theirs first but we were brushed aside. We told them, we don't expect our whole order to be ready all at once, but they are delaying its completion when they keep giving part of our order to other people.

So frustrating!!! It ruin our whole experience. It was the first time we were there and wanted to start a tradition and invite more friends but will not do that now! Trying not to go the racist discrimination route but if you look around, we were the only none-white minority group there tonight. Figure that!

This is an old school drive in. Bring a portable radio and wear long sleeved clothing and you are ready to watch the movie. They let you bring in snack and soft drinks too, They also have a snack bar. This is the best activity I have ever been to in the Dells. Old school fun!
