Nice falls, viewable from the top of the stairs, or various points as you descend to the creek bed to get a clearer viewer. Requires scrambling on muddy paths and over rocks to get near the bottom.

This is another great place to stop and spend a bit of time if you are in the area. The waters falls are amazing at them moment and must be spectacular following a decent down pour of rain. Not necessarily great if you have trouble climbing up and down the flight of steps to the base but you also get a good view from the top of the steps. Fill up some water from the spring tap at the camping ground or stop and read about this amazing area. Great for photography.

Sailors Falls is a plunge waterfall, which depending upon the season, has either one or two streams of water plunging over, what i have read, is approximately a 20 metre drop to the rocks below or, as in the case when we visited, hardly any water at all.

The waterfall is located just off the main road where there is also a large car park, a couple of covered picnic tables and toilets.

There are 133 stairs to navigate down to the walkway at the bottom of the Falls but I would not bother as the view of the Falls down at the bottom is obstructed by some trees and other vegetation.

There is also a short walk (280 metres round trip) which is part path part boardwalk down at the bottom to some mineral springs although again I didn’t think that this was a must see.

The sign at the bottom also said that there was a Loop walk to the Springs that was 1.4klms in distance but we didn't bother doing this.

Great stop with family. Water from tap tasted sparkling. Kids enjoyed the walk and seeing the spring flowers.

This was a really beautiful place to come and see the falls. There was a fountain/tap to try the spring water.
